Enikő Bollobás (born June 19, 1952 in Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian literary scholar, Professor of the Department of American Studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. ==Life and work== Bollobás has written six books on American literature as well as numerous cultural and critical articles. A graduate of ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University), she has been affiliated with this school (as associate professor, later professor) since 1990, when she co-founded the Department of American Studies with two colleagues. On several occasions she was Visiting Professor and Visiting Scholar in the U.S (University of Oregon, Eugene; University of Iowa; University of California, San Diego). She has been invited to speak at various universities, including Cambridge University (England), Yale, Berkeley, Stanford, Georgetown, and George Washington University. Her research and publication fields include American literature and culture, Hungarian literature, Jewish studies, society and politics, Women’s studies/Gender studies.
